TCNJ CARES
The CARE Team in the Dean of Students office provides help and support to students experiencing a variety of personal challenges to being a successful student at TCNJ. Whether your concerns are academic, financial, interpersonal, health, or mental health related – our office is here to help!
Ex: If you or a peer are feeling overwhelmed and experiencing anxiety in regard to personal or academic concerns, we can help to connect you with resources and support on-campus.
Student Conduct
Conduct strives to address cases of alleged misconduct in a fair, responsible, and timely manner. We work to educate students about the importance of the choices they make and their impact.
Ex. If you are under the age of 21 and are found in possession of, attempting to purchase, or consuming alcoholic beverages on or off campus, our office can impose sanctions if the student is found responsible.
Title IX & Sexual Misconduct
As a member of the TCNJ campus community, you are protected from all forms of sex discrimination and sexual violence under Title IX. The Office of Title IX & Sexual Misconduct is committed to creating/maintaining an environment free from all forms of sexual violence and providing fair & equitable support and processes in which all students, faculty, and staff can learn, work, thrive, and succeed. Whether you have experienced or been accused of perpetrating harm, are a Responsible Employee, or are simply looking for information on how to support a friend, the Office of Title IX & Sexual Misconduct is here for you.
Ex: If you or a peer have experienced sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, sexual harassment, or stalking, the Office of Title IX & Sexual Misconduct works to provide support and resources to the individual harmed and adjudicate the matter, if the individual wishes.
