The Dean of Students Office promotes student development and enhances students’ TCNJ experience through programs, services, partnerships/connections, and policy development that promotes healthy and well campus climate and facilitates the successful navigation of campus life.
The CARE Team in the Dean of Students office provides help and support to student’s experiencing variety of personal challenges to being a successful student at TCNJ. Whether your concerns are academic, financial, interpersonal, health or mental health related – our office is here to help!
Ex: If you or a peer are feeling overwhelmed and experiencing anxiety in regards to personal or academic concerns, we can help to connect you with resources and support on-campus.
Conduct strives to address cases of alleged misconduct in fair, responsible and timely manner. We work to educate students about the importance of the choices they make and their impact.
Ex. If you are under the age of 21 and are found in possession of, attempting to purchasing, or consuming alcoholic beverages on or off campus, our office can impose sanctions if student is found responsible.
As a member of the TCNJ community you have the right to be protected from sex discrimination under Title IX. Here at TCNJ, we are committed to ensuring that any member of its community who has experienced sexual violence, dating violence, or stalking has a network of support and resources available to them.
Ex: If you or a peer have experienced dating violence, sexual violence, or stalking, the Title IX office works to provide support and resources to the student and investigates the case, if the student wishes.
